When setting up a website the main focus is to advertise and what’s the use advertising when no one is going to see it. A lot of people seem to believe traffic comes naturally and that you simply appear in sites such as google but this is defiantly not the case.

There are thousands of pages online about Search Engine Optimisation and Traffic Building however in most cases it is very simple to get high for your keyword in google. The one most important thing that google likes is unique and relevant up to date content so make sure your website has totally unique content that is relevant to your keyword and site.

The Second most important thing to google is linking, as the more sites pointing to your site tell google your site is important and offers good content. So how do you build links? There are hundreds of ways some basic ones are blogging, set up a blog and write articles for other peoples blogs gettings links from each one. You could even try contacting websites directly and asking for a link back to your site, this should be easy if your site has good content.
